1. New York, Greenwich Village: The southeast corner of University Place and 9th Street. This is one of the starkest images of how much the area has changed since these images were taken. The image shows the Hotel Martin covered in ivy and surrounded by well-dressed men. That block is now home to a diner and a Chase Bank. 1900.
